Freshly Baked Games has announced that retro-fantasy action RPG Queen’s Domain is Steam Deck and Steam Machine verified ahead of its launch later this week.

This means that, in addition to being functional, the title should launch immediately on the devices and be optimized for them.

In Queen’s Domain, players wash ashore on the Isle of Neasied and set out to find their missing father while investigating the forces gathering across the island and the awakening of its sleeping Queen.

Players explore an interconnected island with hidden areas and environmental hazards. The Legendary Holy Sword Endu also serves as a traversal tool, letting one fly across gaps and reach platforms. Upgrades increase how far the sword can travel.

Combat uses a stamina system, along with charge attacks, weapon-specific special attacks, and secondary throwing weapons. Players can find, equip, and upgrade more than 50 melee weapons, while over 20 types of throwing weapons add more combat options.

Character progression involves spending experience points to level up, and eating food further increases stats. The island contains more than 100 enemies, mini-bosses, and bosses across the game’s various areas. A full playthrough takes approximately 30 to 40 hours. A demo is currently available through Steam.

Queen’s Domain will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on October 30, 2026.
