Youtooz reveals retro Spyro, Crash Bandicoot figures

A 90s PlayStation duo is returning yet again in collectible Youtooz forms.

In the year of Crash Bandicoot’s 30-year and Spyro’s 28-year anniversaries respectively, the iconic gaming duo is back with new retro Youtooz figures.

This time, the bandicoot & dragon duo is not only set for pre-orders this Friday, October 16, but also that they are modeled after their poses as seen in their respective PlayStation game covers. In other words, Crash poses in the same way he did in the cover of the first Crash Bandicoot video game that released in 1996, and Spyro matches his pose in his first game from 1998. They can both be pre-ordered here and here respectively for $29.99 USD each. Additionally, they are estimated to start shipping out next year between May 10 and June 10.

Somewhat related (at least for Spyro the Dragon), fans have also recently spotted new merchandise promoting Spyro: A Realm Beyond on Amazon. This is presumably months ahead of the game’s scheduled Spring 2027 launch. The spotted merch promotes the game with an assortment of shirts/sweaters and even a tote bag. Keep in mind however, despite the listings describing the merchandise as officially licensed, there has been no official comments made by Microsoft, Activision, nor Toys For Bob.
